A doctor's complete fitness routine with some of the country's best trainers. The U.S. Department of Health Guidelines recommends 30 minutes moderate-intense aerobic activity 5 days a week to reduce the risk of chronic disease later in life. In the trilogy of yoga, meditation and fitness, Down Under is a one-stop wellness destination with these classes that tone your core, increase your cardio endurance and help you experience total body conditioning.
Yoga
Sculpt
Vinyasa yoga with resistance training and cardio moves in 90 degree heat. Set to upbeat music and incorporating the use of light weights and resistance bands, this class will work your total body from inside out.
Inferno Hot
Pilates
Hot Pilates is a challenging, full-body, low-impact, high-intensity workout using traditional Pilates movement and principles. The room is heated to 95 degrees and is designed for all fitness levels. It helps tone and strengthen muscles (particularly the core muscles) without the pounding of a high-impact workout. The class includes fast paced music making it fun, energizing and exciting.
Straight Up Strength
A fun, results-oriented, musically-driven group weight training class with zero cardio. Work systematically through all muscle groups in an efficient 45 minutes, syncing your movement to the music.
Strength & Conditioning
With a focus on movement quality, injury prevention, and overall health, Strength & Conditioning uses plyometrics, agility, mobility, core stability, and weight training to deliver a well-rounded training regimen designed for athletes of all levels. If you’re coming in-studio please bring or rent a mat. Weights and resistance bands in studios (if you join us via livestream, have a set of light (5-10 pounds) and heavier (12-20 pounds) weights and a resistance band.
Barre
Incorporating elements of dance, ballet, and strength training, this total body workout is a fusion of low-impact cardio, sustained holds, and micro-movements. If you join is livestream, have a set of light weights, chair or barre and a resistance band.
Core
A dynamic fusion of yoga, barre, pilates, cardio, and conditioning that uses resistance bands to build strength and endurance. Core is a flow class focused on the deep core muscles.
