Will a mat be provided?
Please feel free to bring your own mat or we have mat rentals available at all of our locations.
All Mat Rentals are $3 each.

We do not provide free rentals with membership.What do I need to bring to class?
Mat, water, comfortable athletic clothes, and an open mind! This applies to ALL of our classes.
Which locations have showers?
Our Brookline location has 2 showers, Harvard Square has 2 showers, Boston South End has 1 shower available, and Boston Back Bay has 1 shower available.
Which locations have Life Alive?
Harvard Square and Boston South End.
Which locations offer massage?
Harvard Square, Boston South End, Brookline, and Newton.
Do I need a yoga mat or any other yoga props?
For safety reasons, we do recommend practicing on a yoga mat. The sticky texture will reduce the risk of slipping and sliding. Plus, the cushion of a mat can make the floor more comfortable for seated and kneeling postures.
It’s not necessary to have official yoga props at home for most live-streamed classes. Big, solid textbooks can be used for blocks, towels can be used as blankets, and couch cushions can be used as bolsters.

What kind of air filtration system is used in the studios?
In every studio we’ve installed iWave air sanitization to reduce all viruses, mold, bacteria, and more with 10 air exchanges per hour.
What time should I show up for class?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of class so you can check in at the front desk, and no earlier than 30 minutes before class starts. We allow late arrivals up to 15 minutes AFTER the start of class. Students who arrive after the 15 minute grace period will be asked to join another class to prevent potential injury (Ahimsa: non-violence) and reduce disruption to others (Asteya: non-stealing). We are more than happy to change your reservation to another in studio or livestream class. Thank you for your understanding.
How do I use my guest pass?
YogiPass and YogiPass 365 membership holders may bring one guest per month. Yogi Pass members must be present with their guest at the time of class to redeem free guest pass. All guests must sign in at the front desk and sign a liability waiver prior to using the facilities. To save time, have your guest create an account with us by hitting ‘Register’ in the top right corner of the website prior to class.
How to cancel a class reservation?
Mindbody app
Go to the Profile screen and tap the Schedule tab. Select the Cancel button for the reservation you want to cancel, then tap Cancel Booking in the confirmation message.
Mindbody on our website
In the top navigation bar click 'Login | Register' and log in to your account. Click the Schedule tab. Select the class/appointment you want to cancel and it will be removed from your schedule.

I just signed up for class and I haven’t received a link yet?
Zoom links are automatically sent out 1 hour before class starts. However, if you sign up for a class within the hour of the start time, you will get it within one minute.
The class begins in less than an hour and I can’t find an email with a Zoom link?
Step 1: Check spam folder or junk mail.
Step 2: Add "no-reply@apiant.com" and "no-reply@zoom.us" to your contacts or address book.
Step 3: Search for the class title in ALL MAIL not just INBOX (ex: "Down Under")
Step 4: Do a more specific search ex: "Link for Flow - Livestream on Tuesday, September 1 at 11:00 am"

How do I change or reset my password?
Step 1: Navigate to the “Log In” screen (top right corner of website if on computer) (on mobile browser select the three lines in the top right corner of the screen and “Log In” is the last selection)
Step 2: If you need to change/reset your password click “Need new password?” in blue under the sign in button.
Step 3: You will be prompted to enter your email and a link to create a new password will be sent to the email provided.
I want to sign up for a Patricia Walden class but It won’t allow me to on the Schedule page, how do I sign up for class?
If you scroll down on the main home page, there is a section that says “Masterclasses: Patricia Walden” underneath that heading there is a button: “Book Now” where drop in classes can be booked.

My passes are not showing up?
Step 1: Have you recently updated the Mindbody app on your mobile device?
If the app is out of date, updating it may resolve technical issues.Step 2: Is your Mindbody account linked to downunderyoga.com?
This can be done by requesting a verification email from the Settings section of the app orStep 3: My passes are still not showing up, what do I do?
It's possible that you are logged into the Mindbody app with a different email address or account, or you have a duplicate account. Please call the studio at:617-566-9642
How do I change or reset my Mindbody password?
If you need to change your password or can't recall it, you should request a password reset email through the Login screen—this allows you to establish a new password for your account. If you're currently logged into the app, you'll need to sign out before getting started.

Why am I being asked to pay for a class when I already have a pass?
The price above the "Book" button will appear even if you have an available pass for that class. Don't worry, the app won't ask you to pay if you have an eligible pass.
My pass isn't working.
If you have a pass for the class but it isn't being recognized, you'll want to check that the pass is showing up on your Mindbody app account. You can check for eligible passes by tapping Profile at the bottom and going to the Passes section.
If your pass isn't here, then it's likely you need to link your app account to your account at the business. To do this, make sure you're logged in using the same email address you use at the business, then go back to the Profile screen, tap the Settings gear, and choose Resend Account Confirmation Email. As long as your app account and account at the business have the same email address and name, this will link your accounts.
If your pass is there and simply doesn't work, then you'll need to contact the business directly so they can confirm it's valid for the class. Please be aware that if you have a monthly auto-renew Yogi Pass and it is 24 hours before your billing date, there may be lag time where Mindbody does not recognize that a pass is attached to your account until billing has been processed.

How do I show proof of my Yogi Pass membership when I go to Life Alive?
On the Mindbody App:

I have a $25 monthly charge from Down Under School of Yoga and I don’t know what it is for?
It is likely that you signed up for a free trial of Down Under On Demand. A $25 monthly charge will occur automatically if the Down Under On Demand subscription is not canceled before the end of the trial period.
Do I need an On Demand subscription to buy a bundle?
No, you can buy a bundle without subscribing to the platform.
Do bundles expire?
No, bundles are yours forever.

LATE CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY

LATE WELLNESS APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL POLICY
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled time. Your appointment will be automatically canceled 30 minutes after the appointment scheduled time and you will be charged according to the cancellation policy.
WAITLIST POLICY
There are a certain number of classes we offer that may have a waitlist. At the start of class, if you are signed up and not in attendance by the time class starts, your spot will be given to the next person on the Waitlist. To reduce the number of disruptions in a large class, we forego our Late Attendance Policy and allow members on the Waitlist to take available spots in class. We cannot guarantee you a spot in class if there is a Waitlist in effect.
LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY & FEE
We kindly ask that if you need to cancel your in-studio reservation that you please do so at least 4 hours in advance of the class time so we can release your spot for others to sign up. This allows us time to reach out to waitlisted students who are hoping to join class. If you don’t have access to Mindbody, call and speak to a manager to cancel (email/voicemail cancellations accepted).
If you no-show or cancel with less than 4 hours, a late cancellation fee of $15 is applied to Monthly Members and Newcomer Pass holders and all drop-in purchases or 10 Pass holders will have the visit deducted from their pricing option.
