Shelley brings a heartfelt passion for wellness to everything she does. Blending meditation, playfulness, and intentionality, her teaching style encourages students to engage their deepest muscles while fostering greater self-awareness.
As a former attorney, Shelley’s journey into yoga and Pilates began as a deeply personal quest for healing. After dedicating years to the nonprofit sector, she faced internal challenges that left her searching for more balance. Yoga and Pilates became a refuge, offering not just physical benefits but also a delivering profound sense of mental and emotional clarity.
These practices allowed her to reconnect with herself, and to cultivate resilience — benefits she is passionate about sharing with others.
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Shelley's teaching journey began with a 200-hour certification from Seviin Yoga in Atlanta, Georgia, and is now pursuing her 300 Hour certification at Down Under Yoga. In addition, Shelley holds Balanced Body Pilates certifications in Mat 1, Mat 2, and Mat 3, allowing her to design classes that challenge both the body and the mind.
Outside the studio, Shelley loves baking, writing poetry, exploring herbalism, and sharing moments of laughter with friends.
