Visiting Teachers
Our visiting teacher offerings create rare opportunities to expand your understanding, explore new ways of moving and seeing, and connect more deeply with our broader yoga community.
February 7-8
Practice with one of the most dedicated custodians of the traditional Ashtanga lineage.
Angela Jamison began her journey under Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller at YogaWorks, then deepened her practice through more than a decade of annual study with Sharath Jois in India—including periods assisting him and serving in the Mysore room.
Authorized in 2011 and Certified in 2017 to teach Advanced Series, she now leads a thriving shala in Ann Arbor and brings her rare depth of knowledge to Down Under.
May 8-9
Study with a pioneer blending dance, music, and yoga into a fully embodied experience.
Rebecca Rasmussen began her career as a professional dancer, earning her BFA from the Boston Conservatory and touring internationally for nearly two decades with MOMIX. In 2018, she introduced Inside Flow to the USA, helping cultivate the thriving community seen today.
Now a Senior Teacher and Teacher Trainer for Inside Flow, Rebecca draws on her performance background and yoga studies to train teachers worldwide, continuing to share Inside Flow globally.
July 13-17
Study with one of the most respected elders of the Ashtanga tradition.
Chuck Miller began practicing yoga in 1971 and studied one-on-one with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois for over 18 years, beginning in 1980. Teaching since 1988, his clear, grounded approach reflects decades of practice before, during, and after the yoga boom.
During the Sama Ashtanga Intensive, expect daily practice and focused clinics that slow things down, refine fundamentals, and explore Ashtanga as both a physical method and philosophical system. Known for his gentle yet precise adjustments, Chuck brings depth, clarity, and practicality to students and teachers alike as he continues to teach worldwide.
September 11-13
Study with a living legend whose insight into movement and anatomy transforms how you practice.
Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, PT, has taught yoga since 1971, co-founded Yoga Journal, and trained teachers worldwide with her signature blend of clarity, curiosity, and care.
In The Pelvis Is Everything, expect a thoughtful mix of lecture, asana, restorative practice, and pranayama exploring how the pelvis shapes movement, posture, and perception. This workshop invites students and teachers alike to look beyond poses and reconnect with the source of movement itself.
November 6-8
Study with a deeply thoughtful and experienced Ashtanga teacher who brings philosophy, breath, alignment, and practical wisdom to life.
Tim Feldmann has practiced Ashtanga Yoga since 1994 and is certified in the traditional Mysore lineage through Sharath Jois. His teaching weaves together breath, alignment, anatomy, and yoga philosophy to support sustainable, long-term practice.
During this workshop weekend, expect Mysore-style practice, focused technique sessions, and explorations of philosophy as it applies on and off the mat. Tim’s grounded, accessible approach invites students of all levels to deepen their understanding of traditional Ashtanga.
