The Heart of the Hips

with Kate Robinson

Sunday, December 17
2-4pm

Newton & Livestream

In this workshop we’ll unpack specific & practical applications of vinyasa yoga for emotional resilience & well-being, with a special focus on the hips.

The largest joints in the body that propel us forward- allow us to unfurl & fold are also the junction of nerves, & powerful, dense tissue that can often absorb & house deeply seated tension, fear & restriction. We will mindfully open the outer & inner hips, creating more space & ease.

If you've ever been curious about hip mobility, physical & emotional sensitivity in poses such as pigeon, malasana, lizard & hanumanasana- this workshop is an opportunity to explore what might be living in your hips, & discover internally; why.

Cost: $40

Please bring a yoga mat - mats are available to rent in studio for $3.

***For livestream participants - a Zoom invitation email will go out to pre-registered students 1 hour before the class. Please make sure we have the correct email address on file for you so you receive your invitation! Contact the studio at 617.566.9642 with any questions.***
