Flow & Poetry: Movement as Creative Expression with Hannah Adams

Sunday, February 28
2-4pm •
Back Bay

In this workshop, we’ll explore the intersection of movement, poetry, and creative expression, considering how each can deepen our experience of the others. We’ll begin with a thoughtfully sequenced flow practice, with poetry woven throughout the class to deepen our experience of familiar poses and relish moments of stillness.

Following the physical practice, we’ll transition into a space for reflection and writing. Through a series of accessible prompts, students will be invited to explore their own creative voice and put language to what they notice, feel, remember, and imagine. No previous writing experience is necessary—just a willingness to be curious.

Students will have the opportunity to share what they’ve written, though sharing is entirely optional.

Please bring a notebook, writing utensil & a yoga mat (rentals are available for $3 at the studio)

Cost: $45
