Deep Melt Yoga: Nourish Your Root with Masha Leuner & Tatyana Souza
Friday, January 22
7-8:30pm • Brookline
Winter offers an invitation to turn inward, replenish our resources, and cultivate a sense of grounding and stability.
Drawing on the tantric tradition of chakra theory, this workshop explores Muladhara, the root chakra associated with grounding, stability, and our sense of support, and what it means to nourish ourselves at the roots.
Deep Melt Yoga combines self-myofascial release, restorative yoga, pranayama, sound meditation, Yoga Nidra, and hands-on assists in a deeply restorative practice designed to release physical tension, quiet the senses, and support rest and recovery.
Through slow, intentional breathing, supported postures, and extended relaxation, we'll explore practices that may support nervous system regulation and encourage the body's natural capacity for rest and recovery.
Leave feeling less physically tense, more settled, and deeply rested.
Open to all levels seeking grounding, stability, and winter rest.
Cozy Note: Bring an eye pillow if you have one, wear your softest layers and warmest socks.
Cost: $50
Please bring a yoga mat (rentals are available for $3 at the studio)
