What you will learn:

Designed to be practice-driven, you’ll spend your time learning Pilates fundamentals, applying anatomy in motion, and practicing the art of clear, effective cueing—so you graduate ready to teach with confidence & skill.

  • Master 29 Pilates mat exercises and their variations, learning correct setup, action, goals, modifications, and safe regressions/progressions.

  • Understand how movement principles connect to anatomy, building an evidence-informed approach to core strength and alignment.

  • Learn to deliver impactful, precise, and inclusive instructions that meet students where they are.

  • Gain a clear framework for structuring safe, intelligent classes from warm-up through progression and cool down.

  • Practice trauma-aware, student-centered teaching grounded in ethics and inclusivity.

  • Lead real-world practice classes with feedback, observation hours, and mentorship.

Our Pilates Training is currently offered in our Back Bay  location.

November 1-2 & November 15-16, 2025

Weekend One:
Saturday, November 1: 1:30–7:30pm 
Sunday, November 2: 1:30–7:30pm 

Weekend Two:
Saturday, November 15: 1:30–7:30pm
Sunday, November 16: 1:30–7:30pm 

Two Virtual Check-ins:
Thursday, November 6: 6–9pm
Tuesday, November 11: 6–9pm

Tuition Cost includes Training Weekends and Virtual Training Manual. Cost does not include class attendance required for certification. Students must take 15 classes in order to graduate, as part of the training you would be eligible for discounted class passes

Program Format

  • Two Weekend Intensives:

    • November 1-2 & November 15-16 from 1:30–7:30pm each day. Held at our Back Bay studio.

  • Two Virtual Check-ins:

    • Mid-month check-ins to refine skills and stay connected (November 6 & 13 • 6–9pm)

  • Ten Hours of Self Study:

    • 10 hours of anatomy, kinesiology, and cueing modules (On Demand–prerecorded) + taking 15 Pilates classes (cost of classes not included in tuition

  • Anatomy & Final Exam:

    • Demonstrate competency of understanding Pilates movement, execute verbal cues, and ensure client safety

  • Group & Self Practice:

    • In small group settings to feel confident delivering cues/actions to successfully execute a Pilates class

  • Mentored Practicum:

    • 15 hours of observation, assisting, and community teaching

  • Required Reading & Journaling:

    • To reflect and understand the philosophy and principles of Contrology, the Pilates Method
