JESSICA SIMONETTI

FITNESS FACULTY

Jessica discovered the transformative power of Pilates over 20 years ago when she moved to Boston and began her personal practice. What started as a curiosity quickly evolved into a deep passion—not just for the method itself, but for the incredible sense of empowerment and ease it brings to everyday life. Motivated by her own experience, Jessica felt a strong calling to share this work with others.

Her journey into the fitness world began with personal training and group fitness instruction, eventually leading her to complete comprehensive certifications in Pilates. Jessica is a Balanced Body Comprehensively Certified Instructor, a Balanced Body Mat & Reformer Master Instructor, and is certified by the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). She has also participated in The Vertical Workshop’s Bridge and Pilates Teacher Intensives with Shari Berkowitz—an experience she describes as the most pivotal in her teaching journey, one that sparked a new level of inquiry and inspiration.

Jessica has been teaching since 2012 and is deeply committed to the classical Pilates method. She is endlessly fascinated by the layers within each exercise, believing that the real magic lies not in adding complexity but in stripping movements down to their essence. She emphasizes quality over quantity, guiding students to move with greater awareness, control, and purpose.

In her classes, Jessica strives to create an empowering experience. Her goal is for students to leave not only stronger and more connected to their bodies but also with practical tools and confidence that carry into life beyond the studio.

While teaching is her passion, Jessica considers herself a student first and foremost. She continues to train weekly with her mentor and finds great joy in workshopping movement with fellow instructors and curious learners alike.

Outside the studio, Jessica is the founder of Friends of Oroko Village, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting a remote community in Guinea, West Africa. The nonprofit’s first major project—a medical clinic—is now fully operational, with the first babies delivered this past year. The clinic's inaugural celebration is set for January 2026.

Whether in the Pilates studio or in her humanitarian work, Jessica brings the same passion, dedication, and belief in human potential to everything she does.
