Align With Source: Yoga and Transformational Inner Work

Join me for an inspiring weekend experience exploring Yoga and Transformational Inner Work (TIW). Together, we'll delve into the depths of body, mind, and spirit, uncovering pathways to liberation, personal growth, and a deeper connection with Spirit.

TIW offers a profound exploration of the psyche (mind) and soma (body), guiding you toward a more authentic, Spirit-rich, and purpose-driven life.

Through a fusion of yoga practices, including asanas, pranayama, meditation, and contemplation, alongside examining energetic anatomy and spiritual teachings, you’ll navigate the complexities of your inner world and amplify your connection to Source.

This healing, informative, and soul-affirming journey extends beyond the physical realm of yoga.

It is designed to help you uncover hidden patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape your experiences and relationships. It also provides the inside-out tools to support you in fostering self-compassion and deep connections with yourself, others, and this planet.

Prepare for self-reflection, release stagnant energy, and align with your inner wisdom.

Whether you attend all four classes for a comprehensive experience or select individual sessions that resonate with you, this immersive journey promises to open your heart, mind, and body to freedom, happiness, and empowerment.

The Body and Beyond
Friday, April 12
7:15-9:15pm •
Harvard Square, Cambridge & Livestream

Vinyasa Flow means linking movement with breath. It is a hybrid practice inspired by the Iyengar and Ashtanga methodologies but can also include other forms of practice, theory, and inspiration, both traditional and contemporary.

Because Vinyasa moves with fluidity and rhythm, it is essential to sequence intelligently and offer specific verbal cues to create physiological stability to avoid overstretching, compression, or injury.

This class will explore the basic arc of a vinyasa practice that includes Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Hip Openers, Backbends, Forward Bends, Inversion, and Restorative postures and how to approach practicing with more mindfulness, presence, and heart.

This class will include instruction on the following:

  1. Proper breathwork

  2. Alignment methodology

  3. Understanding transitions

  4. Drishti (eye gaze)

  5. Exploring both the benefits and risk factors of asana postures

  6. How the asana practice prepares for meditation and a deeper connection to Spirit

This class is for most levels wanting to learn more about the physical practice of asana and to have access to my particular form of guidance and support and for any teachers interested in deepening their practice, as well as understanding the mechanics of how I organize, pace and instruct the physical aspects of my vinyasa flow classes.

Cost: $70

Yoga mats are available to rent in studio for $3

The Stories We Tell Ourselves Are True: Shadow Self and The Subtle Body
Saturday, April 13
12:45-2:45pm •
 Back Bay & Livestream

Explore the shadow self and the mind/ body connection through the wisdom of the subtle body within a trauma-informed, psychological, and spiritual framework.

Transformational Inner Work (TIW) invites us to confront the negative personal narratives that often keep us stuck, resistant, and blocked and teaches us how to mend and befriend these aspects of self for greater healing and a deeper connection with Source.

This profound commitment to understanding the self/Self can effectively transform your limiting belief systems and release the caustic tension that can result from internalizing your emotions.

In this practice, you will learn about the following:

  1. Shadow work

  2. Trauma, the brain, the central nervous system, and the vagus nerve

  3. Self-regulation practices

  4. The mind/body connection

  5. Asana, pranayama, and meditation practices that specifically align with the various energy centers

This class is appropriate for all levels of students and will include a dharma talk, asana practice, reflection, meditation, and prayer.

Cost: $70

Yoga mats are available to rent in studio for $3

Slow Flow, Yin, and the Three Realms of Consciousness: An Energetic Portal to Transformative Change
Saturday, April 13
4:15-6:15pm •
Brookline & Livestream

Discover the harmonious balance of Yin and Yang through this slow-flow and yin yoga practice that calms and balances the mind and body, reduces stress and anxiety, increases circulation, and provides emotional release and spiritual insight.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to release fascia, improve joint mobility, and enhance the flow of Qi (energy) throughout your body. Through deep stretching and poses held for extended periods, we'll unlock blockages and promote the free flow of energy, similar to the effects of acupuncture treatment.

Through this meditative and gentle approach, you'll have the opportunity to balance your internal organs, improve flexibility, and develop breath awareness while exploring poses that target the body's deep connective tissues. During these long-held postures, you’ll also reflect on the Three Realms of Consciousness: physical/mental, energetic/emotional, and psychic/symbolic, to create a holistic pathway for self-investigation, the key to personal transcendence.

  1. In the physical/mental realm, we will focus on long-held postures, the principles of alignment and their effect on our connective tissue, and proper breathwork as the foundation of every practice, body integrity, and stress relief.

  2. In the energetic/emotional realm, we will explore the subtle body, its role in soul investigation and healing, and how to release stagnant energy from the channels or meridians throughout the body.

  3. In the psychic/symbolic realm, we will examine the mystical journey and how spiritual renewal can create a deeper, more integrated relationship with Source.

The intention of this practice is to balance your nervous system, reconnect you to your body, gain emotional insight, and cultivate skills—both physically and psychically- to promote an overall sense of physical well-being, emotional harmony, and spiritual connection.

Cost: $70

Yoga mats are available to rent in studio for $3

Mystics on the Mat: Magick, Alchemy & Ritual as a Pathway Toward Liberation
Sunday, April 14
12:30-2:30pm •
 South End & Livestream

Magick is often defined as “shifting energy at will,” and magick is precisely what you experience when we move, breathe, and pray together in yoga.

As a result, your daily practice becomes an alchemical process that changes the contraction of your body/mind into expansion, shifts your limited beliefs into empowerment, and transforms the lead of your fear into the gold of your wisdom.

Moving in this powerful and intentional way, yoga becomes a sacred ritual, a holy dance with Spirit, an expression of your devotion, and an act of cosmic service that amplifies your commitment to healing yourself, each other, and this planet toward peace.

Bring your powerful intentions and use your body to activate the energies designed to awaken into wholeness and move this world into freedom.

This inspired and soulful class will include sun salutes A and B, standing poses, backbends, forward bends, inversions, meditation, reflection, mantra, mudra, and inspired prayer intended to serve and uplift you and others.

Bring to this class any crystals, sacred jewelry, elements from nature, photographs of loved ones, or any items you want “charged” in this embodied prayer. These items will assist in the activation of your prayers and bring more personal meaning and intention into your ritual.

Cost: $70

Yoga mats are available to rent in studio for $3
