Sanctuary: A Nervous System Reset & Deep Restoration Spring Equinox Workshop with Danielle DelVecchio
Saturday, March 21
2-4pm •
Wellesley (159 Linden St. Wellesley, MA 02482)

Sanctuary is an immersive restorative experience devoted to nervous system regulation and deep, intentional rest - a return to the sanctuary within. This workshop gently guides the body and mind out of chronic activation and toward balance, offering space for mental, physical, and emotional tension to unwind on a deeply embodied level.

Rather than emphasizing movement or complex sequencing, Sanctuary centers on down-regulation, awareness, and rest as a skill. Through a carefully curated blend of practices, students are invited to soften, settle, and recalibrate - learning how stress is held in the body and how restorative techniques can be used with intention to support resilience and overall well-being.

Most of the workshop is experienced lying down in a supportive, soothing environment, allowing the nervous system to shift from effort into integration.

This experience includes:

  • Gentle Kundalini-based movement and breathwork moving through the chakras

  • A guided I AM Yoga Nidra™ meditation

  • A Reiki-infused sound bath with alchemy crystal bowls, drums, rattles, tuning forks and gong

Students will leave feeling calm, grounded, and deeply restored, with a clearer connection to their internal cues and practical tools for supporting nervous system regulation in daily life.

Sanctuary is ideal for anyone feeling overstimulated or depleted, or for those curious about yoga and meditation as pathways toward deep restoration and self-connection.

As this Sanctuary falls at the time of the Spring Equinox, the workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to pause and reset as the seasons shift. The equinox marks a natural turning point into longer days and the energy of renewal, inviting us to rest deeply, restore the nervous system, and gently release heaviness from the winter months. Together, we create space to let the light in and move into the season ahead with greater clarity, vitality, and ease.
