Ecstatic Dance Party for Earth Day with Kyle Morgan
Saturday, April 22
6:30-8pm β’ Porter Square
Ecstatic dance is a powerful form of movement that invites people to express themselves according to how they feel.
With no prescribed choreography to follow, you're invited to explore movements at your own pace without the need of following the instructions of a leader. Free-form movement, breath-work, and music invites you to tap into your innermost creativity.
At Ecstatic Dance you have no one to impress, our attention is focused in ourselves so you can be utterly yourself, getting down, breathing, letting loose, allowing your emotions, dreams and prayers to dance themselves. This practice can help free your mind and body while connecting with your Self, others and the Greater Spirit in a safe and healthy way. The beauty of ecstatic dance lies in its ability to bring us together and create a sense of community. Ecstatic Dance encourages people to move their bodies in any way that feels natural to them, without any judgment or criticism.
A powerful form of meditation, it allows you to focus on the present moment and let go of any worries or stresses. Come and be fully engaged in the therapeutic and healing energy of moving in any way you chose where ritual is reinvented and harmony resonates as the beat deepens within an electronic tapestry of world rhythms, weaving us together as One greater family.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete novice, Kyle Morgan asks you to join the party!
