The New York Times named Dominica one of the 52 places to Visit in 2024!

Dominica is home to dozens of waterfalls, hot springs and lakes, unique reefs for snorkeling, dramatic walls for diving, 300 miles of hiking trails, and 170 different bird species. The nourishing volcanic soil and mineral-rich water sources provide a wide variety of tropical foods, fresh fish and farm-to-table delights. Join Rosie for a week of good company, intelligent yoga practice, inspired outdoor activities, and delicious local food at Jungle Bay on Dominica, the “Nature Island of the Caribbean”.

Each morning begins with an active yoga class followed by a delicious breakfast. There is the time each day for exploring the island on hikes, snorkeling in the warm waters of the marine reserves, bird watching, spa treatments or simply relaxing. In the late afternoon, restorative yoga and pranayama practice will leave you deeply refreshed after the activities of the day.

Testimonials

Don’t miss out on a yoga retreat with Rosie Richardson!  Rosie is a gifted teacher who can teach to all levels and challenge each participant in a supportive and caring way.   My husband and I attended her retreats in Mexico, Guatemala, and Dominica. While I am a regular yoga practitioner, my husband is more casual, yet we both had enrichening yoga and recreational experiences at each retreat. Ever mindful of the stunning retreat locations, Rosie facilitates our opportunities - whether in groups or on our own - to hike, swim, snorkel, eat delicious local food, and enjoy the company of our fellow yogis. You will leave feeling relaxed and renewed. And like us you’ll want to come back.
— Emily S.
We’ve enjoyed Rosie’s retreats to Guatemala in 2023 and to Dominica in 2024. Both venues were stunningly gorgeous in interesting and unusual locations. The facilities and logistics were excellent – nice rooms, good food, plenty to do, everything organized and supported. The days are a good balance of yoga and “whatever” – an appropriate balance of activity and quiet times for reflection. We really appreciated Rosie’s ability to deliver a yoga experience that benefitted the wide range of practices from novices to advanced students. We made friends on both trips that we continue to feel connected to.  Rosie manages to assemble just the right kind of people for the retreat. We are already looking forward to 2025!
— Mike M.
I cannot say enough good things about Rosie’s Dominica retreat. Our twice a day practice definitely helped my poses, and was accessible to all levels. The other folks were fun and friendly, and we had many memorable adventures. Dominica and Jungle Bay are like no other place: hiking, snorkeling, swimming in gorges, incredible nature, and more. I am definitely going back in 2025, and look forward to making more new friends.
— Eva H.
