WESLIE SELLINGER
FITNESS FACULTY
Weslie holds a B.A. from Rutgers University in Psychology and Communications and spent a decade working as a Marketing Manager in the educational publishing industry. This foundation lends a nuanced and perceptive lens to her teaching, shaping an approach that is both intelligent and deeply attuned to how individuals absorb, process, and embody new experiences.
She was first introduced to yoga in 2014 and was immediately drawn to the sense of connection it cultivated between mind and body. What began as a personal exploration gradually unfolded into a more devoted practice, leading her to complete her 200-hour teacher training through HYP Studio in 2016. After several years of teaching yoga, she discovered Inferno Hot Pilates and was equally captivated by its intensity, energy, and athletic precision. The contrast revealed a new dimension of movement, ultimately inspiring her to complete both Level 1 and Level 2 trainings with Gabby Walters in 2020.
With over a decade of teaching experience across yoga and Pilates, Weslie’s classes are dynamic, athletic, and thoughtfully layered, balancing challenge with accessibility. She places a strong emphasis on building strength, resilience, and confidence, guiding students to move with intention while exploring the edges of their capacity in a way that feels both sustainable and empowering.
Her work is rooted in the belief that movement can be both physically transformative and deeply empowering. She hopes students leave her classes feeling strong, energized, and accomplished, carrying a greater sense of confidence both on and off the mat.
Outside of the studio, Weslie enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenagers, traveling whenever possible, and taking long walks with their two dogs.
