SARAH LILLEY
PILATES AND FITNESS FACULTY
Sarah is a clinical mental health counselor specializing in drama therapy, an embodied therapeutic approach that integrates principles and interventions from the world of theater. With a lifelong background in dance and performance, her connection to movement began early. After taking ballet as a toddler, she discovered yoga in fourth grade through a Hatha class held in her elementary school library — a setting that, for an avid reader, made the introduction to the practice feel particularly fitting.
Movement has remained a steady thread throughout her life. She has been teaching fitness publicly since 2021, though friends and family have long been the first audience for her choreography and creative sequencing. Sarah currently teaches barre, Pilates, and Yoga Sculpt, and is completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Down Under School of Yoga.
Her teaching is shaped by both her artistic and clinical backgrounds. Drawing from her work as a psychotherapist, Sarah approaches movement as an essential pathway not only to physical strength, but also to mental and emotional wellbeing. Her classes are welcoming and thoughtfully layered, offering accessible entry points alongside opportunities for deeper challenge. Students can expect a supportive, engaging environment where movement, creativity, and awareness intersect.
Sarah hopes students leave class feeling stronger, more grounded, and more connected — both to themselves and to the community moving around them.
