NEHA IYER
VINYASA FACULTY
SNeha’s relationship with yoga began long before she ever stepped into a studio. Growing up in India, she was immersed in a culture where traditional wellness practices like yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Ayurveda existed naturally alongside modern medicine, technology, and innovation. Introduced to yoga as a child by her grandmother — a Sanskrit scholar — Neha’s earliest memories of practice include suryanamaskars, chanting, meditation, and even early morning laughter yoga sessions with a spirited group of grandmothers. What once felt like a reluctant childhood routine eventually became a lifelong source of grounding, connection, and curiosity.
Outside of the studio, Neha works in marketing within women’s health technology, a field that reflects her deep interest in both wellness and modern healthcare. She values the intersection of traditional practices and contemporary innovation, carrying both perspectives into her personal and professional life.
After moving away from India, yoga became an even more meaningful way for Neha to stay connected to her culture, family, and sense of self. What began as a personal practice evolved into a desire to create spaces where others could experience movement, community, and self-exploration without judgment. She completed her teacher training with CorePower Yoga in 2022 and began teaching in 2023.
Neha’s classes are rooted in strength, curiosity, and playfulness. While her teaching often incorporates power-based movement, arm balances, and creative transitions, she believes the true value of yoga lies not in achieving poses, but in learning how we respond to challenge, vulnerability, and uncertainty. Her classes encourage students to approach the practice with openness, resilience, and a willingness to try — both on and off the mat.
