MENA FENWICK
VINYASA FACULTY
Mena is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she studied education and psychology, and is currently pursuing her masterβs degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education while teaching middle school mathematics. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to educational equity, with a particular focus on supporting students with disabilities and advancing more inclusive, responsive learning environments.
She came to yoga during the COVID pandemic, initially as a personal practice to cultivate steadiness and presence amid uncertainty. What began as a grounding ritual quickly evolved into a sustained and intentional pathβone that bridges physical discipline with emotional awareness and mindful inquiry.
Mena completed her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training in August 2024 under Briohny Smyth, and continues to refine her teaching through mentorship with Roman Szpond, alongside training in Inferno Hot Pilates with Gabi Walters.
Her classes are thoughtfully constructed and energetically precise, integrating strength-based sequencing with breath-driven pacing and moments of stillness. She places a strong emphasis on resilienceβboth physical and mentalβoften incorporating sustained holds and intentional transitions that invite students to remain present within challenge. Mena teaches with the belief that the practice is not about perfection, but about cultivating awareness, discipline, and self-trust.
Students can expect to leave her classes with a heightened sense of clarity, strength, and internal connectionβoften having moved beyond perceived limitations.
Outside the studio, Mena spends time with her son, seeks connection to the outdoors, and continues her work as both an educator and lifelong learner. She values simplicity and grounding, and is happiestβwhenever possibleβbarefoot.
