KELSEY SHERMAN
PILATES FACULTY
Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Marketing and began her career in the medical device industry, working closely with providers and patients in clinical settings. This experience shaped a nuanced understanding of care, precision, and human connection, while reinforcing a deep alignment with health, healing, and overall well-being.
A lifelong athlete, Kelsey discovered hot yoga in her early twenties after moving to Watertown, forming a lasting connection to the practice. It became a source of strength and resilience, particularly while navigating chronic illness, and ultimately led her to Down Under School of Yoga, where she completed her teacher training. She later discovered Pilates through injury rehabilitation, finding renewed strength through Inferno Hot Pilates and becoming certified in the method. She is currently continuing her studies through Down Under’s 300-hour teacher training program.
Kelsey’s teaching is dynamic and integrative, blending strength-based movement with elements of philosophy and spirituality. She offers clear, intentional guidance while encouraging internal awareness, thoughtful modification, and exploration of one’s edge. Influenced by her work as a medium and Reiki Master, she brings a refined energetic presence to her classes, creating a space where intensity and stillness coexist, and students can reconnect through breath and movement.
At the center of her work is her role as a medium, where she supports clients in connecting with loved ones in spirit while guiding them through personal healing. Blending intuitive insight with grounded presence, this work continues to shape how she holds space with clarity, compassion, and intention. Outside of the studio, Kelsey is inspired by travel, live music, and time in nature, and values meaningful connection with her loved ones and her dogs.
