KATIE GARGER
FITNESS FACULTY
A Northeastern University graduate with a background in Economics, Katie came to Boston through her academic and professional pursuits, completing co-ops at Reebok and TJX before beginning a career in finance at Goldman Sachs. After several years in the industry, she shifted toward a more people-centered path and now works in real estate, helping others find home in the city she loves.
Her yoga journey began in high school and deepened over time, with Down Under’s beat-based Yoga Sculpt classes reigniting her passion for teaching. With prior experience in group fitness instruction, she was drawn to the precision, musicality, and challenge of the format, leading her to pursue Yoga Sculpt certification through Down Under School of Yoga and return to teaching in a studio setting.
She is most inspired by the sense of community that forms in her classes, creating space for students to step away from their day-to-day, challenge themselves, and connect through shared energy. Rooted in rhythm, her classes blend yoga flow, strength training, and cardio into a fast-paced, beat-driven experience that leaves students feeling strong, supported, and empowered.
Outside the studio, she enjoys exploring Boston and New England, spending time outdoors, and walking the city with her dog, Finnley. A triplet and the only girl of three, she brings both drive and levity to everything she does, believing that movement should be challenging, joyful, and shared.
