JEN DRYER

VINYASA FACULTY

Jen (E-RYT 200) brings nearly three decades of dedicated practice to her teaching, grounded in both intellectual rigor and lived experience. A native New Yorker, she spent 17 years in Washington, DC before relocating to the Boston suburbs in August 2025. She began practicing yoga in 1996 as an antidote to the intensity of teaching in the New York City Department of Education. What began as stress relief evolved into a lifelong discipline—one that now informs every dimension of her work and life.

Jen completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Sonic Yoga in 2006. Her studies in both Prana Flow and Power Yoga refined a teaching voice that is at once precise, creative, and deeply attuned to breath. For nearly two decades, she has taught Vinyasa Flow—her primary love—across studios in New York and Washington, DC, cultivating classes that are thoughtfully sequenced and anatomically intelligent.

Motherhood (2009, with a second child in 2012) further deepened her appreciation for yoga as a sustaining practice. Inspired by her younger son, she completed Every Kid's Yoga: Teaching Yoga to Children with Special Needs in 2017, expanding her capacity to hold space for diverse bodies and neurodiverse learners with nuance and care.
