JADE McELROY

FITNESS FACULTY

Jade holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has built her professional career within the healthcare field. This dual foundation informs a deeply considered and intelligent approach to movement, rooted in both anatomical understanding and a broader perspective on long-term, sustainable well-being.

Her relationship with Pilates began during a period of burnout and disconnection, when the practice offered a rare opportunity to slow down and return to a more present, embodied state. What began as a personal refuge quickly revealed itself as something far more expansive, ultimately inspiring her to pursue teacher training and share this work with others.

Jade is comprehensively trained through Balanced Body and certified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates. Since beginning her teaching journey in late summer 2024, she has been committed to guiding clients toward greater strength, ease, and connection within their bodies.

Her teaching is defined by a calm, intentional presence and a refined sensitivity to the individual experience of each client, emphasizing less rushing and more feeling. She prioritizes depth over speed, encouraging a more attuned and perceptive relationship to movement while inviting clients to move with both awareness and precision. With a particular interest in the mind-body connection and nervous system regulation, her work supports strength-building that is both thoughtful and sustainable. She hopes students leave her classes feeling aligned, grounded, and reconnected, carrying a sense of clarity and steadiness that extends well beyond the studio.

Outside the studio, Jade is drawn to the ocean, long sunset walks, and creative pursuits such as writing and exploring new art forms. She finds inspiration in music, travel, and the continual discovery of experiences that cultivate a sense of curiosity and expansiveness.
