ILONA BOLICH

RESTORATIVE FACULTY

Ilona’s journey into movement and wellness began with her early training at the Boston Ballet. Years later, she discovered yoga and found in its practice a powerful connection between movement, breath , mindfulness and healing.

Ilona holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Prana Power yoga and a second one from At Om Yoga in Rishikesh, India. She has taken assistant training with Down Under. During COVID-19 pandemic, she created a telehealth Chair Yoga and Meditation program for government employees across the United States.

In addition to her yoga training, Ilona is a Level II Reiki practitioner and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma. Her background in mental health, trauma-informed care, meditation, and energy work brings a unique and compassionate perspective to her teaching.

Ilona currently teaches Yin yoga at Down Under and assists, where she combines mindful movement, breath, and relaxation to create an inviting practice accessible to a wide range of students. My goal is to bring the student on a journey, so that when they leave class they feel transformed.
