DIJANA HADZIC
PILATES FACULTY
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and shaped by a life between cultures, Dijana relocated to Boston at eighteen, bringing with her a depth of perception that now informs her work. For over a decade, she has practiced massage therapy with an emphasis on myofascial release, cupping, and mobility; approaching the body not as a collection of parts, but as an intelligent, interconnected system. Her work reflects a refined understanding of structural integrity and a deep respect for the body’s inherent capacity to restore and reorganize itself.
Her personal movement practice expanded profoundly during the COVID lockdown, evolving from discipline into devotion and ultimately into teaching. She completed her Pilates Mat training with Down Under School of Yoga and is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200). Her 200-hour training was completed in Florence, Italy with Destination Yoga and Yoga Garage, and her 300-hour advanced training in Bali with All Yoga—immersions that cultivated both technical rigor and philosophical depth.
Dijana’s teaching synthesizes the architectural precision of Iyengar alignment, the disciplined intensity of Ashtanga, and the structural clarity of Pilates. Her classes are deliberate and intelligently sequenced, balancing strength and subtlety. Philosophy, pranayama, and nuanced storytelling are thoughtfully interwoven, creating an experience that is at once exacting and contemplative. Students leave her classes feeling structurally integrated, mentally lucid, and energetically attuned.
Beyond the studio, Dijana writes and paints, travels extensively, and speaks English, Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Her life remains an ongoing inquiry into culture, language, and perspective—an exploration that continues to deepen both her teaching and her presence.
