CHLOE FOSTER
VINYASA FACULTY
Chloe is a yoga teacher and full-time book designer with a deep passion for movement, mindfulness, and meaningful stories. She studied Political Science and Journalism at the University of Michigan and Boston University, originally setting her sights on becoming a nonfiction book editor. However, her path led her into book design, and she now works full-time at a major publishing house, specializing in books on politics, history, and culture.
Chloe was first introduced to yoga through a Hot 26 class in college — a class she admits she didn’t fully understand at the time. Her true connection to the practice came during the pandemic, when she committed to learning the Ashtanga Primary Series online. What began as a solo exploration quickly turned into a lifelong journey, and she now practices Ashtanga most days of the week. Chloe completed her 200-hour training at Down Under and a 300-hour training with Jason Crandell. She began teaching in 2021 during the pandemic — a time when masks and distancing were still the norm — and found herself deeply inspired by the connections formed through practice, even in uncertain times.
Chloe’s classes are strength-focused, rooted in engagement, control, and centerline awareness. She teaches what she learns from her own practice and from her teachers, creating classes that are physically challenging yet deeply encouraging. She believes asana is a tool for moving prana and building resilience, and she strives to create a space where students can show up exactly as they are.
Outside the studio, Chloe brings a dancer’s precision and a creative spirit to everything she does. She has a background in classical ballet, continues to dance today, and was a competitive horseback rider through college. A self-professed “horse girl,” book lover, museum-goer, and baseball fan, Chloe brings thoughtfulness, curiosity, and vitality to her teaching — and to life.
