BISSO SABRY
FITNESS FACULTY
Bisso brings to her teaching a thoughtful blend of analytical precision and embodied awareness, shaped by both her academic background and lifelong engagement with movement. She studied civil engineering at George Washington University, completing both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, and now works as an engineering consultant in Boston.
Her relationship with fitness began early through sports, running, and high-intensity training, but it was yoga sculpt that proved most compelling. Drawn to its athleticism, musicality, and dynamic structure, she found in the practice a balance of challenge and clarity. After relocating to Boston, her commitment deepened through consistent practice, revealing not only measurable physical strength but a more subtle and enduring sense of mental clarity and overall wellbeing. This dual impact ultimately inspired her to pursue teaching.
Bisso completed her training through Meredith’s yoga sculpt teacher training program, an experience that both refined her technical understanding and affirmed her desire to teach. She was subsequently drawn to Down Under, a community she had long admired, where she continues to develop her voice as both a teacher and a dedicated student of the practice.
Her classes are intentionally structured and music-driven, with a strong emphasis on alignment, strength, and precision. She creates an environment that is both rigorous and accessible, inviting students to move with intensity and integrity while building sustainable, empowering strength. She hopes students leave feeling physically stronger, mentally clearer, and more connected to their own capacity.
Outside the studio, Bisso values the perspective gained from a childhood marked by movement and change. Having attended seven schools, she developed a sense of adaptability and openness that continues to inform her approach to both life and teaching, along with a close connection to her family and a global network of enduring friendships.
