ANISSA ARCHILA
PILATES FACULTY
Anissa brings a seasoned and multidimensional perspective to her work, shaped by over 13 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and several years leading group exercise. Earlier in her career, she founded and operated a personalized meal preparation company in Las Vegas, reflecting a longstanding interest in the intersection of nutrition, performance, and sustainable wellness.
Her relationship to movement began through color guard, where discipline and physical expression first revealed the body’s capacity as both instrument and medium. This foundation evolved into a sustained engagement with strength training and performance-based training. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Lifetime, developing an appreciation for heated flow as a space for both structure and self-inquiry. Her Pilates journey was shaped through mentorship and further refined through her training at JetSet, where a high-intensity, low-impact approach introduced a more modern, athletic dimension to her practice.
Anissa’s teaching is precise and intentional, grounded in alignment, control, and a highly attuned mind-body connection. Drawing from her background in dance, strength training, yoga, and Pilates, she constructs classes that balance rigor with fluidity, integrating breath to support a more cohesive relationship between strength, flow, and awareness. Her work invites students to explore their edge with both discipline and discernment.
Outside the studio, Anissa spends much of her time with her two children or exploring creative ways to bring together movement, nutrition, and community. Music, training, and building meaningful connections through wellness continue to serve as enduring sources of inspiration.
