ANAMIKA JHA

VINYASA FACULTY

Anamika brings a deeply rooted and globally informed approach to her teaching, blending tradition with modern movement. Originally from India, her early introduction to yoga came through her parents—her father’s pranayama practice and her mother’s dedication to asana—instilling in her a lifelong connection to the practice.

With over 25 years of personal practice and teaching since 2019, Anamika is a 500-hour E-RYT trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga. She also holds a 200-hour certification in Yoga Therapy, with a focus on creating personalized practices to support healing for conditions such as back and joint pain. Her classes emphasize strength, stability, and body awareness through breathwork, mindful muscle engagement, and alignment, often guiding students toward more advanced postures like inversions and arm balances with both precision and humility.

Before transitioning into teaching full-time, Anamika built a dynamic career in marketing and advertising across India and Hong Kong, working with global networks such as Discovery Channel and Zee Network. This background brings a thoughtful, creative, and highly communicative lens to her teaching style.

Anamika’s intention is to create a grounded and supportive space where students can reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and move with clarity and purpose. She hopes students leave her classes feeling stronger, centered, and more at ease—both on and off the mat.

Outside the studio, Anamika enjoys spending time with her family and their rescue dog, whom they brought from Shanghai. Having lived and worked across India, Hong Kong, and China, she carries a global perspective and even enjoys practicing a bit of Mandarin whenever she can.
