Mind Under Matter: An Exploration Into Headstand with Ally Hines & Rachelle Pierre
Sunday, March 2
1:30-3pm • Porter Square
Join vinyasa flow teachers Ally Hines and Rachelle Pierre for an uplifting workshop where you’ll turn your world upside down—both literally and figuratively. This headstand workshop invites you to embrace balance, conquer fears, and unlock your potential in an engaging and supportive environment.
We’ll begin with a thoughtfully crafted flow to prepare your body and mind for inversion, focusing on the key muscles and alignment needed to practice headstands safely and confidently. Using the wall as a guide, we’ll break down the mechanics of headstands step by step, offering tips and techniques to build strength, stability, and confidence. You’ll leave equipped with tools to further explore your inversion practice, whether on the mat or in everyday life.
This workshop is for all levels—whether you’re brand-new to inversions or looking to refine your skills.
Come as you are, and leave with a deeper connection to your inner strength and a new perspective on what’s possible.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and a yoga mat (mats available for rent at the studio for $3).
What to Expect: A fun and empowering exploration of headstands, filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of going upside down.
Don’t miss this chance to root, rise, and soar—see you on the mat!
