Vered is a certified Iyengar teacher, stem cell scientist and lab manager at Massachusetts General Hospital.

After moving to the United States to pursue higher education, Vered started studying with Patricia Walden and graduated from Down Under's Iyengar Yoga teacher training program. As a certified teacher, Vered's gentle encouragement and emphasis on intelligent sequencing endear her to students and colleagues alike. Having discover Iyengar yoga in college, Vered delights in teaching all ages from young practitioners to seniors. She brings her passion for alignment into her weekend Iyengar classes and challenges students of all levels and abilities to use the diverse range of Iyengar props to deepen their practice.

When not teaching, Vered manages the Genotyping and Biospecimen Core Lab at MGH and as a research scientist, she has led cutting edge discoveries in the field of cutaneous stem cells.
