Release and Remember: A Winter Solstice Journey with Allison Talis

The body holds our memories, our inherited epigenetic road map, and our present patterning. This workshop works with and through the body to release, untangle, and create new neural pathways towards integration.

We will begin with a guided, slow improvisational Soul Dance-Movement Practice by candlelight, that engages somatic awareness to facilitate personal growth, emotional well-being, and collective healing. This welcoming, no eye-contact practice does not require any dance experience.

We will meditate, journal and finish with Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.

Bring a yoga mat (mats are available to rent for $3 in studio), journal, water, and socks and a sweatshirt or even an extra set of clothes, as you might get sweaty. There will be a five minute break in between the movement and the stillness portions to help facilitate warmth and comfort in the yoga nidra practice.
