If a trainee has a grievance and believes that her/his/their rights have been violated, a written complaint must be submitted to the studio Director, who has one week to determine next steps. In addition, students must demonstrate an understanding of the program content in a written final exam and the final practicum teaching demonstration, as well as maintain a consistent yoga asana practice under the supervision of the Down Under faculty. (At a minimum students must attend 20 classes with the program’s lead faculty. Cost for these classes is not included in the tuition but teacher training students are offered discounted passes for the duration of the teacher training). Attendance and payment of tuition alone do not guarantee students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Note: Occasionally Down Under School of Yoga will film teacher training for educational or promotional purposes.

The asynchronous portion of the Personalized Ayurveda Immersion is divided into four modules with a quiz at the end of each module that will demonstrate that the student has viewed and engaged with the content. Additionally, students will be expected to complete assignments from the asynchronous sessions that will be reviewed during their mentoring and direct sessions with faculty. Weekends and webinar hours unattended will need to be made-up by watching the recording and submitting detailed typed or handwritten notes summarizing the content of the missed class. Students who miss the proctored midterm of the final exam are required to book a 2-hour exam make- up session. The exam make-up rate is $150/hour and can be split with students scheduling on the same day. If you are rescheduling the final exam or midterm, the exam must be rescheduled within the week following the original examination date.
