MEG PREMO
VINYASA FACULTY
After moving to Colorado in 2014, Meg began practicing nearly everyday. She signed up for a 100 hour yoga teacher training in 2016 and began teaching at her local studio.
Meg went on to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training, led by Rachel Nelson, in 2017. However, she fell skiing two weeks prior to the training, needing two surgeries and a full year of recovery. This was an extremely humbling experience, as she learned and implemented a completely modified practice. Meg’s teaching utilizes her gentle and powerful energy to encourage her students to explore what their bodies are calling for- moment to moment, breath by breath. Whether it is attempting a new pose or trying on a different modification, Meg holds space for you to explore your practice on your own terms. You can expect to breathe and move through an invigorating flow that leaves you feeling grounded and clear. Meg mixes it up with music- she loves creating energizing playlists that align with a sequence, yet sometimes she lets the oceanic quality of ujjayi be the rhythm for class. Outside of yoga, Meg is a full-time recreation therapist and a Master’s of Social Work student at Simmons University. She is also an avid backpacker and rock climber who can often be found on top of a mountain with her four-legged companion, Buck.
