VINYASA FACULTY
Kirstin Koepnick brings the rare blend of razor-sharp intelligence with warmth, compassion, humor, and joy. As a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at Harvard University, Kirstin delivers a unique blend of academic and wellness expertise.
Her research explores the fascinating ways ice sheets interact with the atmosphere and oceans.
Kirstin’s yoga journey began in high school, when her stepmom, a yoga teacher-in-training, frequently called on her as a practice student. This sparked Kirstin's deep connection to yoga. Kirstin is a graduate of Down Under Yoga’s 200 and 300 Hour teacher training programs and her style is a fusion of Baptiste-inspired hot power flow and dynamic, faster-paced sequences.
She is known for helping students reconnect with their bodies and find peace in the present moment through a creative, powerful, intelligent class.
When not immersed in research or teaching yoga, Kirstin enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and cooking, particularly over a campfire. She believes in finding inspiration and joy in the natural world, wherever it may take her.
