In addition to being the Faculty Director, Delaney is a gifted Vinyasa, Heated Flow and Fitness teacher whose joyful spirit and kindness endears her to students and colleagues alike.

After her Liberal Arts Degree at Endicott College, Delaney Stone worked in social services for many years. Her work with One Sky Community Services led her to pursue her Masters in Social Work at Simmons while providing 1:1 therapy for a caseload of 50 substance use disorder patients (at the methadone clinic Healthcare Resource Center in Portsmouth NH).

Moving to Boston, Delaney worked for the MA Department of Youth Service in substance abuse prevention program, during which time, Delaney discovered yoga's power as a therapeutic tool for helping patients and she went on to receive her 200 hour yoga teacher training from Exeter Power Yoga and her 300 Hour with Down Under.

She has been a lead manager at Down Under since 2021, was promoted to the Front of House Manager where she single-handedly executed a new model that created stability in the desk management of all six studios. Having mentored her own successor, Delaney was promoted to a new position created specifically for her, titled Faculty Director. As the school grew to six studios, Down Under increased its leadership's ability to tend to faculty with the addition of the Faculty Director role to complement the work of the Yoga and Education Directors. The care and compassion that became Delaney's signature as the leader of Front of House were welcomed as an addition by teachers.
