ANNA DRISCOLL
VINYASA FACULTY
Shaped by her background in English, psychology, and art, Anna approaches yoga as a meeting point of creativity, reflection, and body awareness. Her experience in mental health programs, along with time spent studying the human form through drawing and painting, deepened her interest in the relationship between the body and our internal experiences—an interest that now shapes her understanding of movement and the body in yoga.
Anna completed her 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings at Down Under School of Yoga. She teaches alignment-focused, heat-building flows that study essential actions to explore both foundational and more advanced poses. Drawing on her background in visual art and writing, she approaches each class like a composition—carefully balancing postures, energy, and breath to create a cohesive, intentional experience. Her approach encourages focus, observation, and awareness, balanced with moments of play, humor, and levity.
Anna is deeply grateful to her teachers for fostering her devotion to practice, her enthusiasm in sharing it, and for teaching her to always look for the joy in both. These qualities continue to inspire and deepen her teaching.
She hopes students leave her classes feeling more in tune with themselves—physically, mentally, or emotionally—and having experienced some of the love and joy yoga has brought her. For Anna, yoga is profoundly transformative, but it doesn’t always have to take itself too seriously.
