Living in Cycle: A Holistic Approach to Movement with Emma Ayotte
Sunday, June 23
1:30-2:45pm • Brookline & Livestream

The rhythms of the natural world are present in each of us; the menstruating body has its own inner winter, spring, summer & fall! The hormones of these phases affect more than just your period & as these hormones move through the average 28-day cycle of highs & lows, how you feel changes too. No two days are the same which means how you are in the beginning, middle & end of your cycle can differ greatly.

Creating a movement practice that respects each phase of the menstrual cycle can help us navigate everything that comes along with each stage.

In this workshop we'll deep dive into what each phase can look like & supportive practices both on & off the mat. This workshop is designed for menstruating bodies, as well as anyone looking to learn more & support menstruating bodies in their practice.

Please bring a journal/notebook, water and wear comfy clothes for easy movement.

Cost: $40

Yoga mats are available to rent in studio for $3

***For livestream participants: a Zoom invitation email will go out to pre-registered students 1 hour before the class. Please make sure we have the correct email address on file for you so you receive your invitation! Contact the studio at 617.566.9642 with any questions.***
