—Re—

Return. Renew. Restore.

So…what do we actually mean when we say “restorative yoga”?

Unpacking the word to restore, start with ‘re’ the prefix from Latin (verb) to return; remeo [remeare, remeavi, remeatus] …going back.

Ok, but what are we returning from?

We are coming back from a world on-fire with busy-ness, toxic-grind culture and perpetual productivity.

We are seeking to return to our natural state.

Our more rested, balanced, peaceful self. Restorative yoga is about bringing the body back to the brain, the brain back to the body—

A connection through down-regulation of the nervous system. In the quiet, give yourself time to open your listening, internally.

If you haven’t tried restorative or yin, or it’s been awhile, make the time for your inner-self, your core self, your restored self.

Exhale with us in-person, or On Demand.
