ABBY FRITZ

HEATED FLOW & FITNESS FACULTY

Abby fell in love with movement and expressive arts from a young age. With a background in Tae Kwon Do and gymnastics, she first found yoga following a tumultuous summer spent abroad in Hong Kong and Thailand.

Yoga became her respite, and in some ways her salvation, and she devoted time to becoming an avid practitioner and obtaining her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification from 612 Jungle, a small, woman-owned hip hop yoga studio in Uptown Minneapolis. Her learnings focused on a foundation of Ashtanga yoga, restorative, and dynamic vinyasa flow.

Her travels took her from Minneapolis to Boston that same year, where she discovered a love of Hot Power and Yoga Sculpt, becoming a beloved fitness instructor in Cambridge. Abby is also a passionate aerial artist; having received her 50-hour aerial yoga certification from Trilogy Yoga Sanctuary in San Diego, California, she loves to explore new methods of creative functional movement. Her love of circus and dance is present throughout her teaching.

She completed her 300 hour Yoga Alliance certification at Down Under where her creative, playful sequences come together in challenging yet restorative classes.

Outside of the yoga studio, you can find Abby curled up with a good book and a cup of tea, dog watching in the Boston Common, or planning her next aerial performance routine!
