Iyengar Program

Iyengar classes teach one pose at a time with detailed instructions on alignment. Yoga poses are introduced in a carefully sequenced and progressive manner and teachers use props to help beginners or those with physical limitations to experience the poses more fully.

Iyengar 1 is for beginners and teaches correct alignment and breathing in primary yoga postures. Students will learn basic standing and seated poses, twists, forward bends, and backbends, as well as how to modify for their injuries.

Iyengar 2 takes students to an intermediate level as more advanced postures and sequences are introduced. The teacher will introduce and develop inversions (headstand, handstand, shoulder stand), and more challenging backbends.

Iyengar 3 is for seasoned students comfortable in inversions (shoulder stand, headstand, and handstand at the wall). Students develop strength and refinement in all asanas, including inversions, backbends, and arm balances. Regular yoga practice is assumed.

Flow Program

Flow classes are a continuous sequence of movements where one pose "flows" into another. If you're new, try Flow Foundations. If you practice Vinyasa or any active form of yoga, try Flow. If you like Power Yoga/Hot Yoga, take Heated Flow. And if you are seeking to exhale at the end of the day, enjoy our Relax & Renew.

Flow Foundations A moderately paced class cultivating strength, flexibility, and tranquility within a gentle, continuous sequence. The teacher blends breath, movement, meditation and alignment in a class carefully designed for beginning and intermediate students.

Slow Flow A deep, mindful sequence of poses that focus the mind, clam the nervous system and open the body. Slow Flow 1/2 is for beginners and intermediate students with Slow Flow 2/3 teaching more challenging asanas.

Flow A vigorous, joyful class that rinses you from the inside out, connecting breath to movement through a dynamic sequence of postures. For those who have done yoga before or are physically active.

Heated Flow Challenging sequences in a heated room producing a profound sense of physical and mental release. Heat helps the body become more supple, facilitating ease in the postures for a broader range of people, including those with injuries. Heat, when used as a conscious tool, with skill and balance, allows the body - skin, muscle, soft tissues, organs - to open and receive flow of blood and oxygen more readily. It allows the joints to bend and move without aggression, permitting full range of motion for students to relax into where they are in the moment.

Relax and Renew A meditative class of opening and restorative poses with gentle sequencing, designed to help you unwind from the day. Suitable for all ages and levels of practice, this class focuses on relaxing the mind and opening the body.
